Common Questions

Everything you need to know about the 2026 Singapore format.

Is my old HSK 2.0 Certificate still valid?
Yes, your existing certificates are technically still valid forever. However, Universities and Employers in 2026 will prioritize candidates with HSK 3.0 scores because it proves you have modern speaking and translation skills.
When is the next HSK 3.0 test in Singapore?
Singapore test centers (like Crestar) usually hold exams monthly or bi-monthly. The HSK 3.0 format is being rolled out globally starting with Levels 7-9, filtering down to Levels 1-6. We recommend preparing for the July 2026 cycle to be safe.
Do I really need to learn Handwriting?
Yes. In the past, you could rely on Pinyin input on a computer. The new HSK 3.0 syllabus places a heavy emphasis on “Character Copying” and stroke order right from Level 1. If you cannot write by hand, you will lose marks.
I don’t live in Singapore. Can I still join?
Absolutely. Our classes are 100% Online via Zoom. We specialize in the Singapore context/syllabus, but the HSK 3.0 standard is global. We have students joining from the US, UAE, Australia, and the UK.
